Cha-Cha-Cha, Changes!

Greetings all!

After gathering some advice from readers and a really great blogger whom I admire very much, Erica, from Yeah Write (www.yeahwrite.me) I have decided to make a few changes here at Pressure Cooker.

I hope you like the changes and as always, please keep the feedback coming!

From now on, things will go like this:

Starting next week, I will be sharing a recipe with you every Monday and hope it will be a great start to your week.

A monthly post, this will be a replacement for the Sous Chef blog series.  3 Wishes Wednesday will ask guest bloggers to share 3 Wishes; one from the past, one from the present, and one for the future. The wishes can be for themselves, their children, their spouses, family or friends, or whatever they choose. We will have our first guest blogger of the series next Wednesday so be on the look out!

A more traditional blog post, this weekly update will be where I share whatever motherhood and life have thrown my way each week.

Changes have been historically challenging for this Mommy (and when I say challenging, I mean I like to pretend change doesn't actually apply to me, ever) but I think the new Pressure Cooker format will be an exciting new opportunity for me to move out of my comfort zone and for my readers to find new reasons to love Pressure Cooker.

Thanks for hanging in there with me, see you next Monday for the start of our new adventures in blogging! I am linking up again with Yeah Write - check it out, so many great small blogs!

  1. Change is a good thing and when I look back to just the last 4 years I am amazed at all the changes our family has been through and we are all so much better for those changes!

  2. So very true; I have to say being a new Mom has certainly stretched my ability to accept change. It doesn't come easy but it sure does come often - learning slowly to embrace it!

  3. Way to go! Change is hard. I like the idea of having a weekly schedule. 3 Wishes Wednesday sounds really inspiring, too. :)

  5. I wondered how long it would take for the lovely Erica to grab hold of you! She's as awesome as you think she might be, even more so actually.

  8. To have a schedule like that really helps with busy mom bloggers. Good luck!

  10. As someone relatively new to the blogging world, I found this interesting---the plan, the different posts for different days of the week, the change itself. Thanks for sharing, Erin

  11. Alison - fingers crossed, trying to not oversaturate readers with my current style of a weekly post and recipe. Laura - stay tuned to seehow it works out, so far I think scheduling will be a good change! Sisterhood - thanks for the support and for stopping by! The best part about Yeah Write (for me) has been getting great advice from fellow bloggers with mire experience than me!
